The most I've ever had was an art class in HS. This is not to say that was the first time I started drawing. I was lucky- mom made sure we had any sort of art supplies a kid could need. (Craft supplies as well.) One of these days I'd love to take some more art classes- mostly on how to just use your supplies. How to do shading and coloring with pencils, how to do the same with art markers.

So, right now, I'm learning as I go along. If I'm lucky, each new drawing helps me learn something new, even if I don't know the name of the technique, or even if it isn't anything one would think of as a particular skill. (Today's lesson, how to do feathers without drawing each one! *eyes the Quetzelcoatl Dragon* The tail was last, and that feathery part I finally am pleased with.)
